Parcel.nl BV is only obliged to process packages, the labeling, packaging, content, weight and size of which comply with, but do not conflict with, the specifications and conditions stated on this page.

For all parcel shipments up to 50 kg weight this package is standard insured against loss and theft:

- Within the EU for a maximum of Eur 500.00
- Outside the EU for a maximum of Eur 100.00

Exception:

- Packages sent as PoBox delivery or PostNL
- Parcelletters (deliveries without signature)
- Packages containing prohibited or unapproved articles (ADR, weapons, drugs, etc)
- Parcels that are confiscated by customs due to local regulations or non-payment of import duties / VAT by the recipient

Provisions:

- Reimbursement of the purchase value excl. VAT (must be proven)
- Consequential damage, packaging costs, late delivery, etc are not reimbursed
- The notification must be reported to our ticket system within 30 days of dispatch.
- Glass, Cast Iron, Liquids, Gold, Money, Securities, Jewelery and Art are excluded from the insurance.

It is possible to insure special or expensive goods. The following costs apply:

policy costs € 3.50
Premium: € 1.00 per € 1000.00 to insure value

For shipment, this must be stated by email in our planning with the purchase value, sales value and contents of the package. After our reply on the email with the agreement the shipment is insured.

In addition to the purchase value, the shipping costs are also reimbursed.

In case a shipment is damaged our general transport conditions apply. Important points here are:
 

The sender must pack a shipment well. A good packaging is a sturdy outer box with all-round filler, which means that the package can withstand a 100 cm drop intact.
A signature by the recipient means that it has received the package in good condition.
Always point a recipient to check the box for damage before putting the signature. If any damage is visible, mention this on the registration certificate.
In the event of damage, it must be proved by means of photographs (outer packaging, inner packaging, article in the packaging and damage to the article) that the goods were properly packed.
The package with content must remain on the delivery address, pending completion of the procedure. it is possible that the insurance / carrier collects the package for inspection. If the package is returned or the packaging / contents discarded, the liability expires
