It is the responsibility of the sender to package a package well and to label it correctly. Below are several points of attention:

- The shipping label

Packages are now sorted automatically. There is a barcode on each shipping label. The barcode contains the unique shipment number that is being scanned. The sorting installation ensures that the package is sorted to the correct final destination. It is therefore important that the shipping label is of good quality (preferably print the label with a laser printer or label printer, inkjet printers stain with moisture and make the barcode poorly readable). Furthermore, the label must be on top of the package (the barcode scanners read the barcode from the top) and not covered with foil or tape (this mirrors and makes the barcode for the scanner difficult to read)

- Address data receiver

The sender is responsible for a good address. This must be a physical address; Mailboxes can only be delivered by local postal services (choose PoBox delivery). Order a private recipient at his work address then always give the company name. Very important is an email address; the recipient is kept informed of the delivery, can change the delivery and is also kept informed of any liver problems. A telephone number is mandatory for express shipments. In case of emergency, the courier can call the receiver directly.

- packaging

Goods must be packed in a sturdy box. In fact, we transport the box and we have to deliver it to the recipient in a good condition; that also signifies good reception for the box. The content must be well packaged according to nature and weight. First, the outer packaging must be made of sturdy cardboard. This is followed by the inner packaging, which must ensure that the contents do not lie against the outer packaging. The thickness of this depends on the item to be packaged and the weight. In principle, it must survive a free of 1 meter without damage (similar to, for example, a driver who drops the package out of his hands).

Air in the outer packaging must be prevented. This not only increases the damage to the article, but because another package can be put on it can just start to tear and the packaging is opened. If you have multiple articles in outer boxes, do not bundle them, but pack everything in one box.

For goods that are not in a normal shipping box, for example rolls, cartridges, plastic containers,

- export shipments outside the EU

If you send a package outside the EU, make sure that the invoice is 4x in a doculoc or envelope on the package. Please see our customs page for the exact customs documents.

- Maximum weights and dimensions

The maximum weight of a package can be 50 kg within Europe, 30 kg outside Europe. Packages with a length of more than 120 cm, also as unpacked, bundled and roll packages The maximum length is 175 cm where 1 x length + 2 x width + 2 x height should not exceed 300 cm. If the packages are larger, they are automatically transported as a freight shipment.
